Employees can travel for a round trip in the railway network across India. The coach and class for travel depending on the post the employee holds. Free railway passes are issued for gazetted and non-gazetted employees of Indian Railways. Railway employees and descendants can also avail of three sets of Privilege Ticket Orders per year, where they can book the tickets at the rate of 1/3rd of the base price.
  • Medical care and pension: Railway Employees and their descendants have the privilege of receiving free medical services from railway hospitals. Employees and entitled to a pension post retirement. This assures their financial security throughout life.
